This country has been infested with the Trump cooties for the last several years. This infestation is only a renewal of past infestations of a similar nature. The Trump cootie is just a different manifestation of perhaps McCarthyism.
The Trump cooties is usually transmitted through direct contact with the host (Trump) but it can also be transmitted via different forms of communications. Republican officeholders are at the greatest risk.
These Republicans have shown one or more of the symptoms related to the Trump cootie. These symptoms include, but are not restricted to, alternative fact syndrome, Fox News pinkeye, and slow degradation of the spine.
The Trump cootie cannot be controlled by the application of a salve or spray. Limiting visual contact with the host can help, but the only way to rid yourself is to not vote for any Trump sycophants in the next election.
