Kimley-Horn Planner Greg Feldman discusses downtown building design with a community member at the City of Morganton’s most recent Unified Development Ordinance meeting. The Aug. 11 meeting marks the third public session to gather input that will shape Morganton’s development values and priorities for years to come. The city is contracting with national firm, Kimley-Horn, for the 18-month process. For those that have not been able to make it to the meetings so far, Kimley-Horn and city staff will also have a booth on Sterling Street at the Morganton Festival on both Sept. 11 and 12.
