The Commander in Cheat

Donald Trump is no friend of Democracy as evidenced by his antics and inaction on Jan. 6.

Without the help of several cowardly Republican senators, Trump is just a full-time resident of Florida right now (or something else). These Republican senators helped to unleash a vindictive megalomaniac upon the American public.

Also on Trump’s résumé is a penchant to cheat at every opportunity possible. One of his crowning achievements in cheating was the Stormy Daniels episode of which he was found guilty on 34 of 34 counts. The voters of America were cheated out of knowing about his relationship with Ms. Daniels, which could have had a profound effect on the 2016 presidential result.

The Jan. 6 insurrection speaks for itself. Trump tried to cheat the American electorate out of its choice for president. If any American citizen had led an insurrection as Trump did, he or she would be in some prison decked out in a bright orange jumpsuit wearing flip-flops.

Recently Trump enlisted Governor Abbot of Texas to join in on one of his heinous cheating schemes. By redrawing the electoral map of Texas, Governor Abbot has increased Trump’s chances of holding on to the House of Representatives in the 2026 election, thereby avoiding the almost certainty of being impeached a record 3rd time.

Being impeached a record third time would be comparable to certain baseball records that will never be broken, such as Joe DiMaggio’s 56-game hitting streak or Ty Cobb’s all-time batting average for a career, .367. I will be voting for Trump to set the all-time record for impeachments.
