Why are you seeking election? Since I was voted in as Mayor by the current board in May of 2024, there have been several issues that were voted on that I would not have agreed to vote against. Department budgets that were high in spending requests. Employee raises that should have been higher. I would have voted to ensure 24-7 police protection, just to name a few. I am seeking election to get my voting right back for the citizens of this town.

If elected, what will be the primary focus of your first six months in office? Propose additional meetings to address/resolve concerns faster. Meeting once a month makes it hard to be productive. Work with board on better trust amongst board members. Remind all board members — they work for the Town citizens-they deserve our best.

If elected, what is the legacy you hope to achieve during your tenure in office? That difficult decisions have to be made sometimes, and she did her best, she was fair, and boy did she love this Town!

What are the three most pressing issues facing your community and how do you plan to address them? Budget adherence. Better quorum with Board members. Lack of businesses or interest in bringing businesses to the Town. I plan to make motions to address all of these.
