The Morganton Walmart Supercenter celebrated its expansion and renovations on Oct. 17, with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Burke County Chamber of Commerce. Walmart is at G120 Morganton Heights Blvd. Kimberly Berryhill, 30-year associate of Walmart, cut the ribbon alongside Mayor Ronnie Thompson, General Manager Charity Broyhill, team members, friends, and many supporters. Also in attendance were Burke County Commissioner, Brian Barrier, Randy Burns, and Mike Stroud; Morganton City Council Member, Butch McSwain; President and CEO of the Burke County Chamber of Commerce, Tonia Stephenson; Board Member, Raul Hernandez, Board Member and Ambassador, Ryan Morgan; and Ambassadors, Devan Berry, Janet Hannah, Kelly Messenheimer, Logan Smithers, and Katie Tocci.
