The Town of Glen Alpine’s Board of Aldermen will meet today at 6 p.m. to discuss a few items of business.
Listed on the agenda are discussions about policies and procedures, which will be led by board member Sheila Perkins. This topic has been debated for the last six months, if not longer, and includes hashing out job descriptions and responsibilities for town employees. Perkins will also lead a discussion about scheduling quarterly meetings with the town’s supervisors and department heads.
It’s uncertain whether leadership will discuss the recent vacancy on the board of aldermen. Jim Frady resigned from his position on Monday, June 23, citing concerns about personal agendas among board members/leadership as well as infighting.
Town hall is located at 103 Pitts St. in downtown Glen Alpine.
