Hi, I'm Newt! I can be a little shy at first, but once I warm up to you, I just want to lay in your lap and relax. I'm a gentle guy and I'm ready for Netflix and chill season as the cool fall weather settles in. I definitely need a home where I have a lap or two, or even three to lay in! I'll keep you warm in the winter. When I'm not being a lap cat, I am curious, observant and playful. I get along great with other cats. I have adapted well between being shown at the Cats' Cradle Cafe & Adoption Center and Hickory PetSmart. Through it all, I have wondered where my forever family is. I have watched other kitties be adopted and I can't wait to have my special moment with my new family. If your lap is lonely, I just might be your purrfect match.
Newt is available for adoption through The Cats' Cradle Rescue. Email info@thecatscradle.org or complete an adoption application at www.thecatscradle.org/adopt.

Some things just get better with age, and Miles is here to prove it! This handsome 16-year-old gentleman may have a few more candles on his birthday cake than the younger cats, but don't let that fool you, he still has plenty of life and love left to give. Miles is incredibly affectionate and sweet, and he's ready to spend his golden years doing what every cat deserves to do: soaking up attention, enjoying cozy naps, and being loved unconditionally. Miles has spent 16 years becoming the sweet boy he is today, and he deserves to spend his remaining years knowing what it feels like to truly belong. Could you be the person who gives this sweet senior his retirement home?
