BRAYKING BAD IN VALDESE

A local donkey strolled through Valdese on Sunday afternoon, having escaped from its pen. Valdese Police Chief Marc Sharpe said Councilman Gary Ogle called him to report it as he followed the donkey, which was going down U.S. 70 toward Valdese from Pizza Hut. Sharpe said Sgt. Michael Branch and Animal Control Sean Link secured the animal, which was then returned to its owner. Pictured here is Officer Adam Marlowe with the farm escapee.
