Meet Buttercup! At 7 months old, this beautiful little tween is friendly, loving and extremely playful.
Sadly, he was adopted two months ago but returned last week simply because he is a playful kitten.
Buttercup loves attention and is truly a lap cat, seeking out his humans to be by his side. Tunnels and any type of moving toy are his favorite things to play with, besides the other kitties. He would do best in a home with a playmate but also would thrive in a home with children or adults who will spend time playing with him to help expend his kitten energy.

Buttercup is currently available for viewing at The Mews Herald Adoption Center, 301 Collett St., in downtown Morganton. Operating hours are Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., or Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
