Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute’s Board of Trustees recently welcomed three trustees to new four-year terms and elected officers for the coming year.
Christina Bryant, executive assistant to the president and Board of Trustees, administered the oath of office to Alvin Daughtridge, Dale Hamby, and Chase Keller.
Each has been appointed or reappointed to a four-year term on the CCC&TI Board of Trustees that will run through 2030.
Daughtridge was appointed by the North Carolina House of Representatives. Hamby was reappointed by the Caldwell County Board of Commissioners. Keller was reappointed by the North Carolina Senate.
During a recent meeting, the board also elected officers for the coming year.
Jerry Church will continue as chair. Hamby was reappointed vice chair, Candis Hagaman was reappointed secretary, and Lowell Younce was appointed treasurer.
The CCC&TI Board of Trustees provides leadership and oversight for the college and supports the institution’s mission of providing accessible, high-quality educational and workforce development opportunities to the communities it serves.
