The City of Lenoir is hosting two Independence Day events this weekend on Saturday, July 4. Come celebrate American freedom in Lenoir with events and music downtown, and finish off the celebration with more events, music, and fireworks at Mulberry Recreation Center.
July Fourth in Downtown Lenoir
10 a.m.: Patriotic Promenade
Dress up in your favorite red, white, and blue outfits and come stroll around Downtown Lenoir.
10:30 a.m.: Daughters of American Revolution (DAR) Program at the Charters of Freedom
Boy Scouts Pledge of Allegiance
Program by Tucker's Barn Chapter of the DAR
Proclamation by Mayor Joe Gibbons
11 a.m.: Lenoir Community Band
Enjoy patriotic music from the Lenoir Community Band ending with the "Star Spangled Banner."
