Legendary baseball player Babe Ruth made his MLB debut for the Boston Red Sox on July 11, 1914, pitching seven innings in a 4-3 home victory over the Cleveland Naps at Fenway Park. A member of the inaugural National Baseball Hall of Fame class in 1936, Ruth won three World Series with the Red Sox and four with the New York Yankees during his 22-year MLB career.
