A little sleight of hand — and probably a few surprises — are coming to CoMMA when magician Jeki Yoo takes the stage at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.
The performance is part of CoMMA’s FamilyStage Series, which is designed for children, youth, and families and sponsored by the Morganton Service League.
Yoo, who performs as JEKI, gained national attention through appearances on “America’s Got Talent,” where his close-up magic reached millions of viewers. His performances also drew attention online for his playful style and upbeat personality.
At CoMMA, families can expect a mix of visual tricks, comedy, and audience-friendly magic in a relaxed setting where, as organizers put it, “wiggles and giggles are welcome.”
The fun continues after the show with a youth magic workshop led by JEKI. The hands-on session will be held on stage and will give young participants a chance to learn more about how magic is performed.
Workshop space is limited to 25 participants, and advance registration is encouraged.
The performance will be held at the CoMMA Performing Arts Center, 401 S. College St., Morganton.
