Silver Creek holds club championships

Silver Creek Golf Club held its annual club championships on Aug. 8-9, with 33 members vying for titles across six divisions of play (three of which also crowned net winners).
(Pictured, at No. 1) Daniel Honeycutt shot 2-over par, highlighted by an even-par final round of 72, to claim the men’s title by four strokes over former champion Shane Hise and by seven strokes over another former champion, Steve Jetter, who placed third.
(Pictured, at No. 2) Greg Crump was also 2-over and finished with a 72 in winning the men’s senior championship, while David Simpson (pictured, at No. 3) carded matching 73s to finish at 2-over and claim the men’s super senior title.
(Also both pictured, at No. 4) Sarah Pierce was the ladies champion, and Karen Hagwood was senior ladies champion, while Cal Biggerstaff claimed the open (net) division. Alan Clark was the senior net winner, Steve Watkins was the super senior net winner, and Debbie Jennings was the senior ladies net winner.
