Pilot Club of Morganton gives thanks to golf tournament sponsors

TO THE EDITOR:

The Pilot Club of Morganton would like to extend our most sincere appreciation to the following financial, in-kind and raffle contributors for supporting our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament on Sept. 26.

Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, donors and players, the tournament was a resounding success, allowing us to present Open Hearts Place with a check for $5,000 to continue their important work in our community.

We presented the funds to Madelyn Russ, co-founder and executive director at Open Hearts Place, on October 17!
