Let's all proclaim Trump as 'Little Man of America'

TO THE EDITOR:

I believe we have a child in the White House and have had for some time. The latest tantrum by Trump is to ORDER that Lake Ontario be renamed Lake America.

Apparently, he thinks he can ORDER a change of name for any reason. He is ignorant of the fact that it was called Lake Ontario more than a hundred years before anyone thought of creating a country called the United States of America.

Trump naively thinks that will put the pressure on Canada, who used to be our friend, to get leverage in his personal trade wars.

Canada will always call it Lake Ontario and we look like idiots, calling it Lake America after 400 years, for a childish reason. He actually named it after two continents, North and South America, but I don’t think he knew those details.

I will not lower myself to the level of Trump and call him horrible and crude names as he calls many people who disagree with him.

But, I hereby ORDER that for the next two years, I will not refer to Trump as the “President of the United States” but will refer to him kindly, as “Little Man of the United States.”

We don’t have a “President” in our country currently, but we do have a “Little Man.” If he rescinds his Order, I will rescind my Order.

Please vote for candidates who will stand up to the “Little Man” and end all this foolishness. We need adults to run this country who will respect the three branches of government and the people of America.
