Lynn Woodson, 67, passed away on March 5, 2026, with loved ones and her beloved dog, Stella, by her side.
Lynn was guided by her Christian faith, which shaped how she loved others, served her community, and faced life’s joys and challenges. She was known for her Elton John fanfare, sense of humor, and love of desserts. She took pride in being a certified medical assistant.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Ben Woodson; children, Natasha Crain, Lindsay Barber, and Joanna Woodson; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place at Wingate Baptist Church on April 11 at noon. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving a gift in Lynn’s name to ALS ONE, an organization seeking to find a cure for ALS.
