Freedom alum Paris appears on WCU's 'Western Wednesdays'

Freedom High School 1997 graduate Josh Paris recently appeared on the Sept. 2 edition of “Western Wednesdays,” a monthly show that is uploaded to Western Carolina University’s YouTube channel and serves to spotlight a WCU alum. This photo is a screengrab from that video.

After participating in cross country and track and field at Freedom, Paris also competed in both sports at the collegiate level. The 2001 WCU grad is now the general manager of Old Town Club, a country club in Winston-Salem that includes an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, a fitness room, a swimming pool, and a full-service restaurant. Paris has been in his current position since January 2016, and he has been married to his wife, Amy — a 2003 WCU grad — for nearly 20 years.
