The event was held at The Barn on the campus of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics-Morganton and served as a fundraiser for the Jim W. Burnett Professional Development Fund, which supports training and professional development opportunities for employees at Western Piedmont Community College.
During the four-hour event, attendees received chips to play casino-style games and later exchanged them for raffle tickets for prizes.
Former WPCC President Jim Burnett addressed the crowd at the Western Piedmont Foundation’s Casino Night fundraiser.
