Founders Day, which celebrates the reincorporation of Rutherford College as a municipality in July of 1977, was held Saturday, May 16, on the Town Hall campus. Dozens of crafters, a handful of food truck options, and continuous music on the newly constructed entertainment stage brought out hundreds of town residents and outside visitors as well on a perfect Saturday in May with sunny skies and comfortable temperatures. The event was coordinated by Town Clerk Terra Brieno.
