Approximately 100 Glen Alpine residents and other supporters gathered on a warm Saturday afternoon to rededicate an upgraded and enhanced Veterans Monument at the town's entrance.
Special guest speakers, free food, and a musical performance by Almost Vintage were highlights of the big day.Â
Fundraising for a Battlefield Cross, engraved bricks, and other improvements began in April.
