Wildcats host three-day youth football camp

The Draughn football program held its annual youth camp from July 27-29, with the closing night corresponding with the day the Wildcats officially opened practice for the 2026 season. More than 30 campers attended, with current Wildcats players and coaches serving as the instructors. “What another great year for our annual camp,” Draughn coach Chris Powell said. “Our staff and players really enjoyed working with all these amazing young men. Thank you to the parents who allowed us to work with them and spend these last three days together. We look forward to seeing you all this fall.” The DHS program will host youth night on Sept. 18 and invites all campers and members of feeder programs to join them.
