Three Burke Jammers travel basketball teams recently capped their spring seasons by winning championships, with the fifth-grade girls, sixth-grade boys, and eighth-grade girls finishing first in their respective brackets during the Great Smokies Shootout May 30-31 in Hickory.
The fifth-grade girls were the champions of the Gold Bracket after also winning a tournament in Boone on May 23.
