EB VOLLEYBALL BACK ON TOP

The second-year East Burke High School club boys volleyball team swept its four opponents at a tournament hosted by Maiden the weekend of March 14-15 en route to claiming the event title. East Burke last spring finished with a 9-1 record, winning its conference title in unbeaten fashion before also claiming one N.C. High School Boys Volleyball Association state playoff match as well. This year’s Cavalier squad is made up of returning players Nicholas Chang, Izan Hang, Noah Ramsey, Chi Thor, and Tristan Vang, as well as newcomers US Lee, Muashua Lor, Riley Yang, and Ryu Yang, and is coached by Becca Ramsey.
