New Year's Eve Celebration at Burke Arts Council

The Burke Arts Council celebrated the new year with “The Art of Optimism,” the council’s end-of-year fundraising effort to benefit artists and art programs affected by Hurricane Helene.
Participants enjoyed an evening of food, drinks, live music, dancing, and a silent auction.
The event also featured special music throughout the evening by Adam MacKay on piano, jazz guitar duo Joe Hasty and Dick Hull, Daniel Leich on violin, and violin duo Morgan Jeter and Molly Barrett.
Silent auction items included art, packages from local businesses, and food, among other items.
