Will's Walk raises $1,000 for shade in park

Will’s Walk, a 1-mile trek through downtown Drexel led by Will Perkins, was a huge success on Saturday, April 19. The walk raised approximately $1,000 to be used to purchase shading for the Downtown Drexel Park. Additional events are scheduled for today, April 26, in downtown Drexel. A fish fry, sponsored by Grow with Drexel and Mount Zion’s Brothers of Hope, will be held in the park from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fish plates are $13, and rib plates are $16. Later today, the town’s Spring Concert Series will kick off from 6-9 p.m. with a performance from NiceMarmot.
