Alan Wood and Hope Hopkins of the Burke Partnership for Economic Development (BDI) recently attended the Southern Economic Development Council’s Site Selection Summit in Atlanta.
The annual three-day event, dubbed “Meet the Consultants,” featured a comprehensive agenda focused on current trends and development strategies.
Among the topics covered were global site selection trends, workforce development, and the role of technology and artificial intelligence in site selection.
Wood is the president and CEO of BDI, which functions as the county’s industrial recruitment arm. Hopkins is the Director of Business Retention and Expansion for BDI.
The organization is currently working on a shell building project at the Burke Business Park near exit 96 on Interstate 40.
