The Blue Ridge HealthCare Foundation announced Allison South Bumgarner as its new Events & Marketing Specialist.
Allison brings more than six years of experience with UNC Health Blue Ridge, including three years supporting senior health care leadership.
A graduate of Appalachian State University with a bachelor of science in communication studies, Allison will focus on organizing events and developing strategic marketing efforts to highlight the foundation’s collaboration with UNC Health Blue Ridge.
“Allison’s energy and dedication perfectly align with our mission,” said Ben Brittain, fund development manager. “Her addition reinforces our commitment to excellence and community connection.”
Allison expressed enthusiasm about her new role, saying, “I am thrilled to join the foundation, supporting a mission I deeply believe in, and to continue fostering meaningful community relationships.”
