MICA BANKS / THE PAPER
The last Art Crawl of the year will have an appropriately spooky twist on the month of Halloween as cackling witches beckon for passersby to visit artists whose wares will be on display around Downtown Morganton.
Starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, there will be 11 stops along the Art Crawl where patrons can buy art and chat with artists, plus three sculpture installations.

Also present at the event will be witches participating in this year’s flash mob during Morganton’s Halloween Spooktacular on Friday, Oct. 30.
With pointed hats and wooden brooms, a handful of witches will be calling to those walking down the street, drawing their attention to the artisans along the Art Crawl’s path.
