CAESAR at Fort Defiance in Lenoir

CAESAR members Kevin Hancock (portraying Pvt. John Lewis), Jordan Lowdermilk, Dr. John Lafferty, and Kevin Allec (portraying Samuel Johnson) attend the ‘Tea with William Lenoir and Friends at Historic Fort Defiance.’ The event on April 19 was in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington and Concord. About 200 attendees was hosted by Rendezvous Mountain Chapter, Tuckers Barn Chapter, and Carolina Emerald Chapter of the NCSDAR. Tours of the historic house and kitchen were also conducted after the tea, and the program closed with a musket and cannon salute.
