Warner won the boys title on the first playoff hole after shooting a two-day, 36-hole total of 130 (10-under-par) that included a 63 in the opening round and a 67 in the second round. Warner is a 17-year-old high school senior who has verbally committed to play at Western Carolina University in 2027.

CAROLINAS GOLF ASSOCIATION / FOR THE PAPERRosado won the girls title on the first playoff hole after shooting a two-day total of 145 (1-over-par) that included a 73 in the first round and a 72 in the second round. Rosado is a 14-year-old high school freshman.
Hudson Hunt of Raleigh was the runner-up on the boys’ side after matching Warner with a 63 on day one and a 67 on day two, while Natalia Henderson of Southern Pines finished second on the girls’ side with a 74 in the opening round and a 71 in the second round.
Other top-five finishers on the boys’ side were Holly Springs’ Bodie Snyder (T-third; 9-under 131), Salisbury’s Camden Honeycutt (T-third; 9-under 131), and Raleigh’s Isaiah Adel (fifth; 8-under 132), with the rest of the top five on the girls’ side consisting of Gastonia’s Hallie Anne Winters (third; 2-over 146), Denver’s Sloan McKinney (fourth; 4-over 148), Wake Forest’s Mckenzie Mueller (T-fifth; 5-over 149), Shelby’s Minlin Ou (T-fifth; 5-over 149), and Charlotte’s Natalie Hennessey (5-over 149).
Locally, Morganton’s Avery Watson (T-67th; 6-over 146), Matthew Piercy (T-73rd; 7-over 147), and Grey Snipes (95th; 14-over 154) also competed in the boys’ field, while Lenoir’s Summerlin Gragg (25th; 28-over 172) was one of the female participants.
More than 120 total golfers took part in the event, which was conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association.
