The Patton High School girls won the annual Powderpuff Palooza flag football game against host Freedom on Monday, Nov. 17, at Patriots Stadium, 12-6. The event was hosted by the Anchor Club, and all proceeds and canned food that was donated benefits Burke United Christian Ministries. Defending county champion East Burke plays Draughn in its powderpuff contest, which benefits East Burke Christian Ministries and is scheduled for the spring of 2026.
