Christian receives PHS scholarship

Senior Cohen Christian (pictured at left) on May 14 was presented the Patton High School Booster Club’s Panther Athletic Scholarship by principal Gretchen Reiss (right). Each year, the booster club awards scholarships to Patton seniors in the amount of $1,000. To be eligible to apply, students must show characteristics of leadership, sportsmanship, athletic abilities, and academic excellence. Applicants must also have a parent or guardian who is a current and active booster club member and who is in good standing with the club. Christian will attend Mars Hill University starting this fall, where he will play baseball and major in business.
