The Christ Classical Academy JV girls basketball team recently celebrated its Carolina Christian Athletic Conference 2025-26 championship. Pictured (from left to right) are Lions head coach Valerie Mullis, players Sophie Gulledge, Caroline Wise, Hannah Mullis, Cheyenne Powell, and Anniston Powell, and team manager Eli Wise. Not pictured are CCA assistant coach Madison Grainger and players Emma Kanipe, Hannah Kanipe, and Sarah Crain. Hannah Mullis and Caroline Wise made the all-conference team and will play in the all-star game on March 5 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, while Cheyenne Powell was named an honorable mention all-conference selection. Christ Classical currently has an overall record of 4-4 and advanced to the state tournament, which began Thursday.
