Homecoming season kicked off for Burke County Public Schools at the end of September with Patton High School presenting its homecoming court and naming its queen. Isabella Denton (right) was crowned Patton’s homecoming queen by school principal Gretchen Reiss. The ceremony was part of halftime at the Panthers’ varsity football game against Draughn High School on Friday, Sept. 26. The home team won 31-0. The homecoming court also included Wendy Jannette Ailon-Mejia, Camber Sue Buzze, Jincy Raelyn Gibby, Emma Elizabeth Griffin, MaKenzie Cheyenne Hasson, Chesney Saige Hensley, Sophie Jo Lantvit, Faith Ann Pons, Carly Grace Setterlind, Ivy Renee Steele, Macey Karlton Webb, and Jordan Elizabeth Wells.
