New Dimensions Public Charter School hires new executive director

New Dimensions Public Charter School named Jennifer Pecoraro its new executive director.

Pecoraro’s almost two-decade career in education ranges from the classroom to the executive level. She has held multiple positions within the realm of behavioral science including paraprofessional, behavioral specialist, and district behavior coach.

Most recently, Pecoraro served for two years as director of special education at Sheyenne Valley Special Education Unit in North Dakota.

“New Dimensions offers something families value more than ever: a school where students are known, challenged, and supported,” Pecoraro said. “I am excited to join this strong community and work with our teachers, staff, and families as we build on our foundation and look ahead to a great future for NDS (New Dimensions School).”

Pecoraro holds a master’s degree in special education.

She has also spent 18 years as a high school and travel softball coach. NDS staff said this has shaped her approach to teamwork, accountability, and relationships.

Pecoraro will assume her role on Sept. 16, said NDS Board Chair Isaac Crouch, taking the reins from Interim Executive Director Heather Hollifield.

The base compensation for Pecoraro’s position is $105,000, according to her contract, with a relocation bonus of $5,000.
