The residents of Eagles Landing, on Watermill-Glen Alpine Road, created a banner to thank the many volunteers that helped them through the Hurricane Helene flooding. The banner has been placed in front of the housing development. Friends, neighbors and volunteers from western North Carolina communities and church groups showed up and helped Eagles Landing residents tremendously. These volunteers helped pack up households, move appliances, clean, etc., all in a selfless, upbeat manner. The residents of Eagles Landing are tremendously grateful for their help.
