The 24th annual October Oyster Outing is only two weeks away. The much-anticipated event will be held at the Burke County Historic Courthouse Square in downtown Morganton on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 1-7 p.m. The event raises essential funds for the Burke Arts Council’s community art programs.
With live music by Continental Divide, a mouthwatering menu, and a mission that supports the Burke Arts Council’s vibrant programming, it’s a win for the whole community. The event is free to attend. Food and drinks available for purchase.
Menu Highlights:
Steamed and Fried Oysters
Gulf Shrimp
Clam Chowder and Salt Potatoes
Hot Dogs and Hamburgers
Local Craft Beer and Non-Alcoholic Refreshments
