Astor Rose Boutique ribbon cutting

On Thursday, Jan. 30, the Burke County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for Aster Rose Boutique at 211 N. Green St. in Morganton. Owner Valerie Hightower cut the ribbon alongside family, friends, and many supporters. Also in attendance were Mayor of Morganton Ronnie Thompson, City Councilman Chris Hawkins; Main Street Manager Makenzie McGinnis, President and CEO of the Burke County Chamber of Commerce Tonia Stephenson, Chamber Board members Susan Berley and Tonya Little, and Chamber Ambassadors Mackenzie Bostian, Gina Setterlind, and Logan Smithers.
