Downtown Glen Alpine has a new park. Here are the details. 

The Burke River Trail Association and the Town of Glen Alpine invite the public to celebrate the official Ribbon Cutting and Community Picnic for the new Glen Alpine Downtown Park on Saturday, Nov. 1.

The park is undergoing finishing touches and is expected to open in a few weeks.

The goal is to open the park to the public by the end of the year.

Construction is underway on the Glen Alpine Downtown Park, with a December opening expected. The project, led by the Burke River Trail Association, aims to boost community connection and downtown foot traffic.
