Have we betrayed our allies?

This United States vs. Ukraine vs. Russia situation has shocked me to the core.

Prostitution is defined as: to use yourself or your abilities or beliefs in a way … to get money. If you look through the recent Ukrainian-U.S. meeting in the Oval Office that is what we told Zelensky. Pay us $500 billion and we will protect you … ”maybe.” No money … no protection.

How did we Americans ever come to the point where we decide to act based solely on whether a country will pay us versus what is right or wrong?

The term here is “betrayal.” We have betrayed our allies by supporting Russia a country that recently threatened us with nuclear attack. What have we come to as a nation … prostitution and betrayal?

“To forsake an ally is to hand your enemy a sword,” said Shakespeare. Putin is smiling with a howitzer in his hand laughing at the predicament of Ukraine, a country one-third the size of Russia that after 3 years Putin could not defeat but U.S. prostitution and betrayal might.
