Meet Milo He’s been waiting 70 days for a new home, which is approximately 69 days too long.
At just 2 years old and 63 pounds, Milo is the perfect mix of fun-sized linebacker and professional cuddle consultant. He loves toys like they owe him money. And he’s always down for walks, hikes, adventures or dramatic squirrel watching. Happy to play hard … then come home and become one with your couch. He gets along well with other dogs.
Milo is ready to clock out of shelter life and clock into being someone’s best friend. He’s handsome, hilarious, and his adoption fee is sponsored (basically a steal).
He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Burke Animal Resource Center is now open at its new location at 636 Kirksey Drive, Morganton. The shelter is closed on Sundays and Mondays, and open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The phone number is 828-764-9588.
