Morganton Rotary flips for funds at annual pancake breakfast

The Rotary Club of Morganton brought out the griddles and mixed-up gallons of pancake batter when they hosted their popular annual pancake breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, April 12. The Morganton Community House was hopping, as large crowds lined up to eat breakfast, and even catch a glimpse of the Easter Bunny at the event.
From 8 a.m. until noon, ticket holders were treated to a full breakfast menu of pancakes with a topping bar, eggs, sausage, coffee and juice. Mimosa Insurance hosted a mimosa bar for guests who could prove they were "of age."
A silent auction featuring items donated by local businesses and organizations also brough in funds for the organization. The Morganton Ukulele Society provided entertainment for the diners.
