The long-awaited Mill Town Social House is now open in downtown Valdese, taking over the former The Levee Brewery & Pub location.
The new restaurant announced its opening at 118 Main St. W on Tuesday, June 24. The building’s former inhabitant of five years, the Levee, had its last day on Nov. 18.
The social house offers various appetizers and sandwiches of different flavors, such as crab rangoon dip to an Angry Hawaiian flatbread or a good ole Hunter’s livermush sandwich.
Their menu also offers a salad bar. Additionally, Mill Town has various beers on tap, wines, and a $4.99-all all-day on Saturday/Sunday special on Mimosas and Bellini refills.
Visitors can enjoy their delicious foods and drinks in the Mill Town’s den, with stuffed animals displayed on the walls, lounge seating, a fireplace, and a flat screen TV.
Their hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday through Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday. They are closed on Wednesdays.
