From new ownership at Treat to progress at The Honey Hog, 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Morganton's restaurant scene.

Customer favorites include the chilaquiles, breakfast burrito, steak and eggs, and the American breakfast.

The new location is now open next to Cracker Barrell off Interstate 40.

Morganton residents have been eagerly awaiting the opening of The Madness Sushi, Burger & Bar downtown since renovations began in December 2024. So eager that some have ventured to Asheville to give it a try before doors open in Morganton.
