The Exit 113 bridge over Interstate 40 in Rutherford College is officially open, as of Friday, Jan. 17.Â
Starting May 6, 2024 the Malcolm Boulevard bridge underwent a $2.3 million extensive rehabilitation.Â
The entire project consisted of replacing the superstructure and other key components, adding new guardrail, and a new riding surface with fresh lane markings and reflectors.
