Pirouz joins Carolina Caring as chief operating officer

Carolina Caring recently announced that Cameron Pirouz, MBA, has been hired as the organization’s chief operating officer, effective Aug. 3.

With extensive healthcare leadership experience spanning hospice, home-based care, and complex healthcare systems, Pirouz is dedicated to strengthening serious illness care programs to ensure that patients and families receive high-quality, compassionate support. He previously served as the hospice director of operations at Sutter Health in California.

As chief operating officer, Pirouz will manage Carolina Caring’s organizational operations and care innovation, leading with a philosophy that emphasizes continuous improvement and the alignment of operational excellence across the 13 counties it serves — including Burke and Caldwell — across Western North Carolina and the Charlotte region.
