This handsome gray and white fellow is ready to steal your heart! Dunkin is an incredibly friendly and playful young cat who brings joy everywhere he goes. While at PetSmart Morganton, he has been making connections with people through the glass, but no one has come to take him home. He does his best to entertain with his rubs against the glass and throwing his ball around every chance that he gets. He loves being petted but his favorite thing is belly rubs.
Dunkin has been lovingly fostered by an experienced cat rescuer who has helped save many felines in need. He’s healthy, well-socialized, and ready for his forever family. If you are looking for a loving cat with lots of personality, you have found him. Dunkin is ready for you!

Athos: This sweet guy is around 8 months old and neutered. He is a little shy but comes out of his shell quickly and wants to be loved. He does well around other cats but has not been dog-tested. He would love someone patient and kind to give him time to warm up to you. Plus, he is adorable. Come meet him.
Burke Animal Services is at 425 Kirksey Drive, Morganton. The shelter is closed on Sundays and Mondays, and open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The phone number is 828-764-9588.
All cat and kitten adoptions are $20; all dog and puppy adoptions are $40. All adoptions include spay/neuter, a one-year rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), standard core preventative vaccines (FVRCP), a monthly flea preventative, and dewormer as needed.
