A former Valdese Elementary teacher confessed to using social media platforms to send and receive inappropriate images and other media files from about 50 juveniles.

Chad Allen MacJarrett, 27, and Donaven James Purcell, 26, will appear at probable cause hearings at the Burke County Courthouse on Sept. 15. Both are without bond and remain incarcerated.
