Morganton Public Safety arrested Jeremiah Tyler Kirby, 23, of Morganton, three times between Aug. 22 and Aug. 29.

After a backpack search produced a stolen turbocharger and drug paraphernalia, the Burke County Sheriff’s Office arrested Neal Joseph Brown, 35, of Morganton.

A white female had reportedly broken into multiple vehicles at 3:30 p.m. at the DMV office, 115 Government Drive in Morganton.

A Morganton duo, Kristen Paige Smith and Marc Eugene Dunn II, were recently sentenced for their felony larceny offenses. 

The data reveals that theft-related crimes, ranging from shoplifting to larceny/theft, are the primary concerns among stores like Walmart, Murphy Express, Ross, Belk, and Dick's Sporting Goods.
